Cognitify

// PRODUCT · CRM · 2025

The CRM that thinks in lifetimes, not pipelines.

// AI in your next step. Across every account.

While other CRMs assume the deal close is the end, your relationship is just hitting year three. Delivery, renewals, advisory, follow-on — we built the CRM we wished existed when we shipped ours. For consultants, advisors and portfolio operators.

Private beta · One team at a time. Cognitify is our first user.

Most CRMs assume the deal close is the end. In our world — consulting, advisory, portfolio operators — that's where the 3-to-5-year relationship begins.

Pipeline-shaped CRMs make sense for transactional sales: lead → demo → close → handoff. Our work — consulting, advisory, portfolio companies — barely fits that arc. The deal closes; delivery starts; renewals follow; advisory grows; the same person leaves Company A, takes a board seat at Company B, and you need both contexts side-by-side. Most CRMs flatten this. We refused to.

We wrote Cognitify CRM the way we wished a CRM was written when we shipped ours: lifecycle-first, multi-tenant from the schema up, audit-shaped from day one. And because we use it daily, next-best-action AI — walking every account with you — is the next build, not a tagline.

// what makes it different

Built around the relationship.

  1. 01

    People are LinkedIn-shaped, not contact-shaped.

    One person, multiple companies, multiple concurrent roles, gaps and returns. We keep all of it. The career timeline with concurrent role lanes is the centerpiece — not an export footer.

  2. 02

    Lifecycle nav, not pipeline nav.

    Three primary groups: Sales · Lifecycle · Workspace. Sales is what's open. Lifecycle is what's living. Workspace is what's yours. The interface tells you what stage of the relationship you're in — not just what stage of the deal.

  3. 03

    Your clients' data, physically isolated.

    Run 12 portfolio companies in one tool; cross-tenant leakage is impossible by construction — enforced at the Postgres row level, on every single query. The tenancy isn't a feature flag we hope nobody bypasses. It's the schema.

  4. 04

    SOC 2-ready out of the box.

    Pass your client's security review without scrambling. Every change is hash-chained, append-only, verifiable end-to-end. MFA built in, PII redacted by permission, classification badges on every document. Compliance from the schema up — not bolted on for the audit.

  5. 05

    AI walking every account with you.

    Next-best-action across every relationship, not just the open deals. Pinned summaries, drafted follow-ups, surfaced gaps. The AI is in the build queue — we won't pretend it ships today, but we built the schema (pgvector, hash-chained events) so it slides in without re-architecting.

// what's inside

Six surfaces, shipping.

  1. 01

    People · Companies · Relationships

    Find the real decision-maker even when they've changed companies three times. Many-to-many people↔companies, non-exclusive concurrent roles, returnable spells, career timelines with concurrent role lanes and gap markers.

  2. 02

    Pipelines · Stages · Deals

    Stop losing deals to data-entry friction. Multi-pipeline state machine, reopen with reason logging, required-field gating per stage — the form fights for clean pipeline hygiene without slowing you down.

  3. 03

    Leads · Convert · CSV import

    Move from one-off email lists to a real lead funnel in an afternoon. Disqualify with reasons, convert with last-statement predicate gate, reverse-convert when things change, 10k-row CSV bulk import in one synchronous request.

  4. 04

    ABAC · Audit · RLS

    Give your junior consultants their own view without exposing the partners' deals. Attribute-based access control, PII redaction by permission, append-only audit hash chain — verifiable end to end.

  5. 05

    Multi-tenant & self-hostable

    Run our cloud, or your own — your data, your call. Hard data isolation at the Postgres row level. OpenTofu modules deploy the full stack to Azure (other clouds welcome — Postgres is Postgres).

  6. 06

    SOC 2-ready foundation

    Pass your enterprise client's security review without four weeks of remediation. MFA enrolment built in, classification badges per document, per-entity audit trails, session throttling by IP and identity.

// under the hood

PostgreSQL 16 with row-level security · Redis-backed sessions · TypeScript end-to-end · MFA · pgvector-ready for semantic search across your relationship graph · Self-hostable via OpenTofu to Azure.
